Honorary President Stanley Johnson enters Celebrity jungle

Stanley Johnson, Honorary President of the Gorilla Organization and lifelong environmentalist, is to star in the 2017 edition of ITV’s hit show “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”

Having served as Chairman of the Gorilla Organization for ten years, Stanley stepped down in 2012, shortly after he summited Mount Kilimanjaro in an epic fundraising mission. However, he has continued to lend his support to gorilla conservation, combining his passion for protecting wildlife with writing novels, journalism and frequent TV appearances.

Now, despite admitting that he has never even seen the show before, Stanley has signed up to be one of ten celebrities to be dropped into the Australian jungle. Over the next few weeks, the stars will be presented with a series of challenges, with one voted off each week until only a champion remains.

The primetime show will serve as an ideal opportunity for Stanley to spread the word about the plight of gorillas in the wild, as well as the threats facing wildlife around the world.
