The London 10k run is a new, exciting event, brought to you by the same team that organizes the Flora London marathon. Taking place on 26 May 2008 (Bank Holiday Monday), the impressive London route takes in many of London’s key sites, including the Olympic 2012 course!
With only 10,000 runners the London 10k is an exclusive run with massive appeal so why not join the Gorilla Organization team of runners as they take the streets of London.
How to run the London 10k for The Gorilla Organization
The Gorilla Organization has secured a limited number of places and one of these can be yours.
Registration costs £50 (non refundable) and we ask you to fundraise a minimum of £500. There's a prize for the top fundraiser and everyone that runs will receive a gorilla suit to run in, though this is not compulsory.
If you are interested in running the London 10k for the Gorilla Organization get in touch with Sam Davies on 020 7483 2681 or
sam@gorilas.org
(The prize for the top fundraiser will be announced in July 2008!)
Already have a place?
If you have already got a place through the online ballot – well done and congratulations! Why not make that coveted place go further and run for the Gorilla Organization?
You will still be part of the Gorilla Organization team – you’ll get a vest and the same support as the rest of the team. You do not have to pay the registration fee and are not obliged to raise the minimum £500 sponsorship fee. We just ask you to let us know that you want to run for us (see contacts above) and raise as much as you can.
