The 2015 Great Gorilla Raffle was drawn at the London office this week, with three winning numbers drawn out of the hat.
Once again, the raffle proved to be a massive hit with supporters old and new. In all, some 11,600 tickets were snapped up, raising an incredible £14,500. As always, all of the money raised through the raffle will go to support the Gorilla Organization's award-winning conservation and development projects in Central Africa.
This year's winning numbers, along with the three winners and their cash prizes are as follows:
- Mr W Armstrong From Nottingham - 1st Prize (£1000)
- Ms N Colbeck from York - 2nd Prize (£500)
- Mrs J Kearsley from Port Erin - 3rd Prize (£100)
Celebrating yet another successful year, Executive Director Jillian Miller said: "Year after year, out supporters do what they can to help us protect gorillas in the wild from extinction, and the 2015 raffle was no exception.
"We'd like to extend our appreciation to everyone who entered this year. There can, of course, be only three winners, and our warmest congratulations go out to them!"
The raffle will return in 2016, so look out for the tickets coming through your door!
