Jim has worked in the not-for-profit sector since 1991, including with Oxfam, Notting Hill Housing Trust and Camden Social Services. He joined the Gorilla Organization in April 2008 and has a lifelong passion for wildlife.

Profile:
One of the first graduates from the newly formed Kigali Institute of Technology in the mid 1990s, Emmanuel manages the Gorilla Organization's Resource Centre in Rwanda and heads up its programme there, including a major project with indigenous people, funded by the European Union.

Formerly manager of Congo's acclaimed Lwrio Ape Sanctuary, Andre joined the Gorilla Organization in 2005 to manage gorilla monitoring and community-based conservation at the Walkale Community Reserve in rebel held territory in eastern Congo.

Henry has been with the organistion for nearly a decade and has brought the Congolese programme through some of the most unstable times of the country’s history. Henry is an expert in the link between the survival of gorillas and the development of the communities.

Being an organic key Farmer Trainer who wishes to share her own experience with others, Regina has worked with the Gorilla Organization for seven years. 11,000 farmers of Virunga mountains have now been trained by Regina and, like Regina, love the gorillas!
