Watch our Congo mission “Apes in Danger” on Wednesday 11th January 2006 on BBC2, 7.30 pm
The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Director, Greg Cummings, recently flew to Walikali, Democratic Republic Congo accompanied by a BBC crew as part of the BBC’s “Apes in Danger” season.
The mission of this visit was to launch a model mine with the aim of solving the problem of illegal coltan mining and it’s impact on eastern lowland gorillas.
